Startup Configuration Selection

Since Cheetah is a completely configurable program, it needs to know which configuration to use when it starts. The startup configuration can be specified either by the startup selection dialog, or by specifying a configuration file as an argument to the Cheetah executable. The Subject ID and the Session Name specify the folders to which the data will be written.  More information on this can be found in Subject and Session Creation .

1. Close Button This button will immediately exit Cheetah.
2. Subject Identification

Specifies the subject file that will be associated with the data generated in the next session of Cheetah.  The user will have the option to select previous Subjects or the default Subject, browse for a Subject, or create a new Subject.  Once the subject has been selected and Cheetah is started, the Subject cannot be changed.  It can only be changed when Cheetah is restarted.  See Subject and Session Creation for more details.
3. Session Name

Specifies the session name that will be associated with the data generated for the Subject highlighted in the Subject ID for the next session of Cheetah.  The user will have the option to select previous Sessions, select the default Session or create a new Session.  Once the session has been selected and Cheetah is started, the Session cannot be changed.  It can only be changed when Cheetah is restarted.  See Subject and Session Creation for more details.
4.2. Use Last Configuration Every time Cheetah is closed, it will save the current configuration.  If you click this button, Cheetah will start exactly as it looked the last time it was exited.  If Cheetah cannot find the last configuration, this button will be grayed out.
5.3. Browse for a File Cheetah will open a window where you can browse for the startup file you wish to use.  Once a file is selected, Cheetah will automatically launch the selected file.

While the configuration is loading, a progress indicator will be displayed.
