Recording Option Settings

1. Create New Files
Per Recording
When selected, __prod_name will create a new file for each acquisition entity (AE) every time recording is toggled off / on.  These files are written in the same Data Directory created when __prod_name starts.  This feature can be changed at any time.

Example:   The first recording file created of the acquisition entity CSC1 would be CSC1.ncs.  Subsequent off / on recordings would create CSC1_001.ncs, CSC1_002.ncs, etc...
2. Maximum File
Length (Hours)
To maximize compatibility and ease of use for post recording analysis of recorded files, __prod_name can set a maximum file length. Once this maximum file length is reached, __prod_name automatically generates a new file for each AE.  By default, the maximum file length is set to 4 hours.unlimited duration. Selecting the drop down will allow the user to select different hour options ranging from 1 to 4 hours24 hours or unlimited.  This option cannot be changed when __prod_name is recording.

Example:   The first recording file created of the acquisition entity CSC55 would be CSC55.ncs.  Every time the maximum file length was reached, __prod_name would create CSC55_001.ncs, CSC55_002.ncs, etc...
3. Data Directory This shows the current directory for all active data files. By default, __prod_name will write to the current user's TEMP directory.directory specified when the Subject and Session information is created from the startup splash screen .
4. Raw Data File This selection will enable output of a raw data file to the file name shown in the box when the check box is checked.  You can change the file that is being written to and its disk location by clicking on the browse button.  This option can be selected at any time.
