We are looking for a top-flight firmware engineer to join a dynamic engineering team to help us deliver quality products to our customers. As a member of Neuralynx engineering team, your responsibilities include working on a variety of firmware and FPGA projects, developing and testing projects related to signal processing, image processing. Our cutting edge products are used in medical and research facilities to expand human knowledge in neuroscience and neurology. You will have the opportunity to design and develop firmware and hardware. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree
Passion for high-quality product design and engineering
Min 3 years of FPGA programming and test experience
Experience in VHDL
Comfortable developing firmware on the Unix platform
Experience with C or C++
Experience in multi-threaded and real-time programming
Interest in exploring new technologies and understanding their applicability to the Neuralynx problem space
Comfortable with version control systems
Familiarity with TCP/IP stack and network programming
Familiarity with electronic laboratory test equipment and related software (e.g., oscilloscope, signal generator)
Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery concept, and solutions
Scripting language experience (MATLAB and Bash)
Background or interest in neuroscience.
Familiarity with the Xilinx design process flow (Vivado, Xilinx SDK)
Familiarity with medical product development procedures
Ability to listen to others, help with discussions, and drive results
