LabLynx Hardware System Properties

These settings are used to control how the LabLynx hardware sub system is setup and how it processes AD data before passing the data to the acquisition entities.  The hardware system properties are shown via the View menu in __prod_name.

LabLynx  Hardware System Properties Dialog

1. Battery Voltage The current voltage of the battery.
2. System Name This is the unique name that is used to identify this system in Cheetah. It is the name user defines when creating the hardware sub system.
3. Product Name The release name of the LabLynx hardware.
4. Product Version The release version of the LabLynx hardware.
5. Firmware Version The firmware version currently installed on the LabLynx hardware.
6. IP Address The IP address of the LabLynx hardware.
7. MAC Address Media Access Control Address unique identifier for the LabLynx hardware.
8. SSID Service Set Identifier assigned to the LabLynx hardware for network identification.
9. FLED Enable Enables and disables the operation of FLED Module connected to the 10 pin connector on the LabLynx front panel.
10. Hide/Show Details Toggle Clicking on the button when it says "Hide Details" will change the window to save screen space and display only the most important monitoring information and controls. Clicking on this button when it says "Show Details" will expand the window to show a more detailed view of the hardware system properties.
11. Ultrasonic Mic Enable Allows disabling or enabling of Ultrasonic Microphone installed on the LabLynx hardware. If the LabLynx reports that a microphone is not present, it will always be disabled.
12. Battery Remaining The amount of battery charge remaining as a percentage.
13. Core Temperature The internal core temperature of the LabLynx hardware.
14. Sample Frequency The current sample frequency for this system. This value is based on the hardware. All AD channels on this system will be sampled at this frequency.  However, the sampling rate of individual acquisition entities can be changed. See the help section for the type of acquisition entity whose sampling rate you wish to change for more information.
15. Total Channel Count The total number of distinct physical signals that the connected LabLynx hardware can acquire.
16. Min Input Range This is the smallest voltage that this system is capable of recording, and is the minimum value that can be used for the input range of an AE. This value is based on the hardware being used and cannot be changed.
17. Max Input Range This is the largest voltage that this system is capable of recording, and is the maximum value that can be used for the input range of an AE. This value is based on the hardware being used and cannot be changed.
