Primary Responsibilities: Develop Windows®, Apple OS X, and Linux applications, libraries and test applications for both new and existing neuroscience electrophysiology products. Development areas include scientific data analysis, user interface and real-time Ethernet data communications. Guided by an ISO 13485 compliant engineering process, you will be part of an experienced software engineering group.Required Skills:
- Master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- Must have 3+ years of experience in software development
- Must have 2+ years experience in scientific data analysis and handling big data
- Proficiency in one of Java, C++ or C#
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python and Matlab
- Computer science fundamentals in problem-solving and algorithms and complexity analysis
- Programming skills in Unix/Linux/Win32 environment
- Work experience with embedded real-time systems
- Knowledge of professional software engineering, development cycle, code review, source code management and software testing is highly preferred
- Knowledge and research experience in biology and neuroscience are considered a plus

Neuralynx actively supports the educational training of neuroscience students through its participation in summer intensives, including the Transylvanian Experimental Neuroscience Summer School (TENNS, Romania) and Neural Systems and Behavior (Marine Biological Laboratory, Massachusetts), providing data acquisition systems and animal interface devices.
Neuralynx also offers summer and academic year internships for undergrad and graduate students, many of whom have continued employment following graduation.
